We would like to explain our commitment to the TCFD.
In March 2019, our Group became the first developer in Japan to endorse the TCFD protocol and has participated in the TCFD Consortium, a domestic organization that discusses TCFD initiatives, since its inception.
In the fiscal year ended March 31, 2022, we assessed and disclosed medium-term (2030) and long-term (2050) risks and opportunities in our urban, resort, residential, and renewable energy businesses under three scenarios: 1.5°C, 3°C, and 4°C.
We recognize that climate change is a major issue for the Group and that it represents a risk and opportunity that will affect our strategies and finances in the medium to long term.
We will continue to take measures based on the mandates of the TCFD and will continue to make appropriate disclosures to gain a broad understanding of the issues.
