Transitions in Operating Profit by Business Segment

This page shows movements in operating profit according to business segment.

In the Urban Development segment, we pursue portfolio replacement, the improvement of quality and so forth while maintaining asset scale.
In the Strategic Investment segment, our plans call for the doubling of profits largely through bringing renewable energy and logistics facilities into operation.
In the Property Management & Operation segment, we anticipate a recovery in inbound and other tourist demand as part of the second half of our Medium-term Management Plan 2025.
In our Real Estate Agents segment, we expect growth to continue against the backdrop of a strong-performing market.

Additionally, we established an ROA target of 3.6% for our asset utilizing business as a KPI for the improvement of efficiency.
We will achieve that target through bringing large properties into operation, expanding high-efficiency businesses such as renewable energy, and strengthening circular businesses.
In our human capital utilizing business, we will achieve an operating profit margin of 8.1% propped up by a recovery in tourist demand.
