Introduction to climate change initiatives.
In addition to endorsing the TCFD recommendations, the Group has conducted 3 types of scenario analysis: 1.5 degrees Celsius, 3 degrees Celsius, and 4 degrees Celsius. We will incorporate the results of these analyses into our governance and business strategies and promote disclosure in line with the TCFD recommendations.
We are also the first developer in Japan to obtain SBT certification and 1.5 degrees Celsius target certification. We will aim to reduce CO2 emissions to the high level of 1.5 degrees Celsius target, which is an effort target under the Paris Agreement. Our target for CO2 reduction in 2030 is a 46.2% reduction compared to FY2019.
